      Guidd is a platform that offers a multitude of unique outdoor experiences created by the best guides in each area.

      Local guides share their passion for nature by creating live authentic experiences.

      Guidd is a tool that promotes experiential tourism with strong economic and social impact on the area.
    • Who are the guides?
      The guides are locals of the place you are visiting who want to share their passion for nature with you. They are certified in compliance with the legal requirements established in the terms of service.
    • What kind of outdoor activities can I find?
      On Guidd, you'll find a selection of activities organized into the following categories: hiking, nature, adventure, trekking, snow, water and cultural. You are sure to find the one that best suits your tastes and preferences.
  • Book Activities
    • How do I register on Guidd?
      Creating an account on Guidd is quick and easy. The easiest way is to sign up with your Facebook or Google + account. You can also register by entering your email and password.
    • How do I make a booking with Guidd?
      The procedure for booking an activity is very simple:
      • Once you've found the activity that you like, you can send your booking request to the guide. You only have to select the desired date, the number of people and enter your card details.
      • The guide will receive your notice by email and SMS and will have a maximum of 48 hours to accept. When accepting the request, the amount of the experience will automatically be charged to your card. The money will be held by Guidd until the day of the activity.
      • You will receive an email confirmation, reservation code and the guide’s contact details. The day of the activity, remember to provide the guide with your booking code.
    • What if the guide does not accept my request or it expires?
      In the case that the guide rejects your request or the response time of 48 hours expires, the booking request will be canceled. Your card will not be charged.
    • Can I contact the guide before booking?
      Yes. If you have questions or need more information about the activity, you can contact the guide though our private messaging system. You must be registered on the platform to use Guidd’s messaging system.
    • Is the activity’s advertised price final?
      All prices listed on the Guidd website are final and contains detailed information about inclusions and exclusions (with no surprises or small print!).
    • How do I edit or change my booking?
      Depending on the changes you want to make, you must follow different procedures:
      • Date Change: First you need to contact the guide to see if there is availability on the day and time you propose to change to. If you both are agreed, it is important that we communicate by email through go@guidd.io.
      • Modify the number of people: If you want to add people, you have to buy the activity with the number of extra people. If instead someone cannot attend, contact us and we will apply the activity’s cancellation policy established in the terms of service.
    • How do I cancel an activity that is already booked?
      To cancel a booking for a confirmed activity, go to "Bookings > Cancel activity" in your user account. Your booking will be canceled automatically. Reimbursement is subject to the booking restrictions established by each guide from the following:
      • Flexible: full refund up to the day before.
      • Moderate: full refund up to 5 days before. 50% in the last 5 days.
      • Strict: 50% refund up to 5 days before. Nothing in the last 5 days.
      • Very strict: 50% refund up to 10 days before. Nothing in the last 10 days.
  • Enjoy the Experience
    • How do I prepare for the activity?
      Before leaving, it is important to check all information for the activity that is accessible from the e-mail booking confirmation.
    • Can I share an activity with other people?
      Maybe, it could be that your activity is shared with other people. In case you prefer the activity exclusively for your group, send a message to the guide asking if it is possible.
    • What happens in case of bad weather?
      If the guide determines that weather conditions prevent the activity from being carried out with the necessary guarantees on the originally planned date, he/she shall propose an alternative date on which to hold the activity. In the event that it is not possible to set an alternative date or it is not acceptable to you, you are entitled to a refund for the total amount of the activity.
    • What if the guide does not show up?
      It is almost impossible for this to happen. First, check the details of your booking. If it is still not possible to meet with the guide, we will refund the full amount of the booking and the guide will be penalized.
    • Some advice
      Be punctual and follow the rules and recommendations of the guide to make the most of your experience.
  • Guide Evaluation
    • How does the rating system work?
      You will receive an e-mail following each activity to review and rate your experience with the guide.
      Reviews can not be deleted or modified by users. Guidd reserves the right to remove those opinions which do not meet the standards set out in the terms of service.
    • Why are reviews so important?
      Reviews are fundamental as they help others decide the best option. Only people who have attended an activity can submit a review.
  • Payments and Refunds
    • Why is it necessary that transactions are made through Guidd?
      Payment through Guidd guarantees the security of the transaction and the final price of the contracted activity. Additionally, you will have the customer service of Guidd and you are entitled to reimbursement in the outlined cases.
    • Is it safe to make payments through Guidd?
      You can pay securely with your credit card using our virtual POS. Remember that you will not be charged until the guide accepts your request. When the booking is made, we will hold your money until the day of the activity. Once the activity has taken place and you have provided your guide with the booking code, we will proceed with making the transfer to the guide.
    • What happens if the guide cancels my booking?
      This does not usually happen, but if your guide cancels your booking you will receive an email confirming the cancellation and a full refund for the amount paid.

    • Why might I need to contact Guidd?
      If you have technical problems with your account, you do not understand something about the operation of Guidd, you are experiencing problems or have questions regarding a booking, Guidd is always available to help you find a solution.
